Year 2 Diploma Course in Manipulative Therapy
As well as week-end seminars, students must undergo a number of home study modules throughout the year.

Students will undertake clinical hours in professional clinics under the supervision of fully qualified therapists.

A revision test paper will be set at the beginning of each week-end seminar on the lessons of the previous week-end.


Course Content
· Examination of the thoracic & cervical spine.
· Specific tests for the thoracic & cervical spine.
· Muscle energy techniques (MET's) for the thoracic spine.
· Muscle energy techniques (MET's) for the cervical spine.
· Manipulative techniques for the thoracic spine (HVT's).
· Manipulative techniques for the cervical spine (HVT's)
· Myofascial release techniques for thoracic & cervical spine.
· Soft tissue release techniques for the thoracic & cervical spine
· Medical examination of the respiratory system, cardiovascular system and abdomen.
· Neurology of the thoracic spine, cervical spine and upper limbs.
· Minimum of 100 hours clinical experience.
Examinations are carried out by external examiners.
