Year 1 Diploma Course in Remedial Massage
As well as week-end seminars, students must undergo a number of home study modules throughout the year.

Students will undertake clinical hours in professional clinics under the supervision of fully qualified therapists.

A revision test paper will be set at the beginning of each week-end seminar on the lessons of the previous week-end.
Course Content


1. Massage Techniques and Myofascial Release.
2. The Structure of bone, joints and muscles.
3. Anotomy of: The Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, Hip, Knee and Ankle Joints.
4. The Examination Procedure for: The Shoulder, Elbow, Wrist, Hip, Knee and Ankle Joints.
5. Common Injuries to these Joints and their treatment.
6. The Systems of the Body.
7. Conditions affecting the Systems of the Body.
8. Taking a Case History.
9. Developing a Treatment Plan.
10. 20 Hours Clinical Observation.
Examinations are carried out by external examiners.
